Customize the document headers and footers in Word 2011 for Mac to show page numbers, dates, and logos for formal stationery. You can work with headers and footers in several of Word 2011’s views. The quick way to work with headers and footers is by way of the Header and Footer group on the Office 2011 Ribbon’s Document Elements tab. Word considers the header/footer size part of the section, not the header/footer itself. To have different header sizes, you need to use sections. On the Page Layout tab, click Breaks, then under Sections click Next Page. Please look at the image. I am trying to move the comments on the second page, under the comments on the first page. All I can think is that the headers and footers are stopping me from joining the two sets of comments. I have tried to move the footer down by using the margins on the left hand side but it does not change where the 'Footer - Section 4' Tab shows up. I took a look into draft view and there is a soft dotted line separating the comments. How can i get rid of this soft dotted line or is there any other suggestions you may have?
